What an affiliate link is

Buttons labelled Buy on Amazon or View on eBay are affiliate links. If you click one and then make a qualifying purchase, the marketplace may pay us a commission. You don't pay any extra, and the price you see on the marketplace is set by the marketplace or the seller, not by us.

Every affiliate link goes straight to amazon.com.au or ebay.com.au. We don't send you through hidden redirect pages, and the destination is shown next to each button.

What we don't do

• We don't sell products, hold stock, take orders or process payments. Your purchase is with the marketplace and its seller.
• We don't rank or include products based on commission rates. Sorting uses names, dates and specifications only.
• We don't show Amazon prices, discounts or stock levels, because those change often and we don't use Amazon's data services.
• We don't publish star ratings, customer reviews or claims that we personally tested a product unless we actually did.

Sponsored placements

We don't currently accept payment from brands. If that changes, paid placements will be labelled Sponsored wherever they appear, with a sentence explaining the arrangement. Unlabelled products are editorial selections.

How we choose what to cover

We pick products that are widely available to Australian shoppers and that we can document from manufacturer sources. Each specification cites its source and the date we checked it. Read more on our About page.
